Only those who understand themselves and others can create effective strategies. Human nature does not follow our ideals, though we believe we can shape nature according to our design. Society, economics, technology and education have improved our lives, but it has not changed our inherent nature. Few people are willing to set aside their prejudice when looking at themselves in a critical light. Our nature must be understood and accepted, or all of our efforts to improve our condition will fail.
